From the personal collection of Clara Creager, weaving author and professor at Ohio State University. Most of her books are in good to very good condition unless otherwise noted or shown in the photo. Dust jackets on hardcovers have various amounts of wear and some are missing. Some books have her signature or previous owner’s signature in them or library labels. I purchased these books at an auction that was held on her behalf. I pulled out the ones I wanted to keep and want to get the remainder of them into the hands of other weavers. Ms. Creager had a tendency to pack away various articles and notes in her books, and I’ve left everything there for the new owners if there was anything.
In order to keep things simple, I’m pricing them by whether they are hardback, softcover or booklet format instead of pricing each individually. Consequently, there are some great deals here on a number of obscure titles. Pricing is $15 for each hardback, $10 for each softcover and $5 for each booklet. I’m pressed for time (aren’t we all?) so rather than deal with a bunch of little orders, I’m setting a $20 minimum per order.
Media mail shipping is extra as follows: $4 for the first book and 75 cents for each additional book. If the amount ends up being $2 or more over the actual, I will refund the extra to you. I would also be willing to ship by Priority Mail with tracking (more expensive) if you prefer.

- All About Weaving by Clara Creager is signed by the author.
- The photo of The Tapestry Book shows the book in its dust jacket on the right and also the matching box on the left. The book is in good condition but the box is in very poor condition.
- Warp and Weft by Dorothy K. Burnham includes a woven sample of the weaving design shown on the cover. I’m not sure if this was originally included with the book or if it was woven by Clara Creager.
- Lace and Lacey Weaves by Mary E. Snyder is signed by the author.
- Opening a Door to Two Harness Techniques is stained.
- Weaving Handcraft by Marthann Alexander is signed by the author.
- The book with the blank orange-ish cover is the Romance of Textiles by Ethel Lewis.
