This loom was brand new in August, 2014 and is absolutely mint, brand new condition. There is not a ding nor dent on it. It has been lovingly and carefully cared for.
This is a Swedish-style loom made in Sweden, with a hanging beater, and rear-hinged treadles.
In the photos, the loom is set up with 4 shafts and 6 treadles, tied up for twill and tabby. That is why two treadles are unused. There are 4 additional shafts, and upper and lower lamms for those shafts.
The darker and lighter patches of wood you see in the photos are the way the loom was made. The wood has not aged since I purchased it just over a year ago.
