4 shaft/6 treadle Norwood loom with bench - $495

Weaving width of 36 inches, overall width of about 46 inches.

This cherrywood Norwood loom is a much-loved loom, great for someone wanting to try or resume four-shaft weaving at a thrifty price. This loom will weave scarves, shawls, towels, and cloth yardage. Holds a very good tension for a Jack-style loom, but this is not a rug loom.

Gilmore bench (space for a drawer), over 400 flat steel heddles (with some extra), and a 15-dent reed included. Sectional beam (but no pegs). The back beam rotates up and the warp beam lifts out so you can sit inside the loom to thread heddles.

I purchased this loom (with a few pieces missing) over three years ago as a newbie weaver. The back supports are new cherrywood, so they haven’t acquired the patina of the rest of the loom yet. It is true that she may not be as beautiful as she was in her youth, but she is an excellent value at this price. I have woven many items on this loom. A much larger loom is coming to live in my studio and I need space, so I must pass this older but loved and very functional loom along to another weaver.

I am located 25 miles north of Madison, Wisconsin. Pick-up only.
