For sale-- 4 shaft, 6 treadle Glimakra (?), countermarche loom. Probably an Ideal(?)
Measures 34” from side to side inside the beater. So that must be close to the weaving width. Owner does not weave and asked me to look it over. The loom was left at her house when she moved in.
It is dismantled, but all the parts seem to be there. I counted beams, cross pieces, wedges, shaft bars, treadles, rubber feet, beam handles etc. I have recently helped a friend to assemble a larger Glimakra and so I recognize the parts needed. The castle, shafts and lamms are all still connected in bundle. Texsolv heddles and lamm cords. Wood could use some TLC. There is one reed, but it is rusty.
