There is a crack in the bottom of the reed tray and can be seen in the photos. It does not extend the whole width of the tray. Can be glued and screwed or a new piece could be ordered from Kessenich. The company is still in business and still sells this exact loom. The customer service is great, as you will speak directly to the owner/artisan who creates these beauties. Solid Oak construction means it’s very heavy (180lbs). Will need at least 2 very strong men to move this from a 2nd story bedroom. I’ve used a stock photo of the loom opened, as I don’t have room to open it in the room it’s in. All other photos are mine. As seen in the photos, folds for easy storage. Folded the dimensions are 54” wide (including back beam handle) X 51” high x 19” deep. Height when open to weave is approx 40” and depth is approx 36”.

Plain beam front and back with aprons (dingy but usable). This loom is at least 30 yrs old. Brand new, it retails for $2875.00. All the accessories would be well over an additional $425. That would total $3300 if purchased new. Asking $600.00 for all. Local pickup in RI. Delivery or meetup within New England may be possible at an additional cost.
