This is a late-1990’s model Leclerc Artisat 4H/6T loom. I got it in not so great condition after having been stored in a barn for several years and completely restored it back to working order. The only evidence of its time in exile is the handle on the replacement crank is a different color from the rest. This is a great beginner loom. I’ve developed some back problems that combined with having to move and put a lot of my stuff into storage, make me want to sell this one and replace it something else in the future when I get my studio back.
Included:
bench
3 carbon reeds (10, 12, and 15 dent)
2 lease sticks
2 boat shuttles + some bobbins (# unknown, since I haven’t found them all yet, but it’ll be in the 8-12 neighboorhood)
reed and threading hooks
Deborah Chandler’s “Learning to Weave” book
13’ warping frame
8 thread cone holder
handmade 1/2” raddle
With the exception of the raddle and the book, this is all the original equipment that came with it from LeClerc when it was purchased.
This loom folds down to fit in the back of an SUV, but i own a two-door coupe. I may be able to borrow a pickup for delivery within 50 miles but assume I won’t and you’ll need to pick up in Beacon, NY, 12508.
$500
This will go into storage on or about February 20th and won’t be available after that.
