This is an eight shaft Leclerc Colonial Loom. It was probably made in the 1980’s. I’ve woven on it for five years but am now ready to downsize to a smaller loom. It has two back beams! Each back beam has a tension brake.
Comes with a bench, at least 800 heddles, 1 reed, lease sticks, and I can throw in a bunch of warp packing sticks that I use if desired. Setup for overhead brake right now but I have the part for the foot brake.
I’m at least the third owner of the loom so it’s got some wear and tear. Priced to sell and selling as-is, but I’ve got it set up with a warp right now so you can weave on it if you desire.
Treadle springs are new, the front ratchet handle is homemade. One of the cages that holds the lamms is broken and will need to be repaired / replaced. That’s pictured. This is an awesome loom and I’ve woven so much great cloth on it, but its time to let it go! Probably to someone slightly taller than myself.
Cash and carry from a second floor walkup, the loom breaks down pretty easily and I can help with that. I cannot deliver or ship.
