This older loom (from the 70’s) is currently set up with 8 ground shafts, 30 or so pattern shafts, 10 treadles and a single back beam.
Four more ground shafts and an additional full set of 14 treadles are included in the sale as well as the rest of the 50 pattern shafts.
The loom has been upgraded from the original string heddles to full Texsolv but otherwise it’s the original loom, made of extremely hard wood and built to last!
It’s a wonderful loom, I just don’t have room for it in my new house. New,this loom with all the accessories would cost over $10,000 and as they say, “they don’t make them like this anymore.”
