Looking for an AVL mechanical doby. I have a 16 shaft loom designed by Jim Ahrens and built by him and his neighbor in 1986. He mentioned this loom would be a good candidate for a doby unit.
I’m thinking when people converted to a computer doby they may have stashed their mechanical unit in the attic and it’s sitting collecting dust. Maybe you might know someone who has one you could link me to. I’d love to get more involved with multi-shaft weaving. I’m located 50 miles south of Rochester, NY.
