The loom is in very good shape but there is a “modification” that I made.
As it turns out I like a really tight warp and this loom can give you that. Unfortunately that meant that I actually broke one of the attachments of the apron rod to the cloth beam! I spoke to Bob and he said no one’s ever done that before. Anyway, I fixed this by reattaching it with texsolve. It works fine but is not the prettiest, and the texsolve has worn some shallow grooves in the front where they go over the front of the loom - this should not be a tension issue because this is wide of the weaving space, but not cosmetically fabulous.
