Yes, I just bought this a couple of months ago. I’d always expected to upgrade or trade up to an 8S CM at some point, thinking the time would come in a couple of years. But it’s here now, so this Julia must go.
As the subject says, she has 4 shafts and 6 treadles (I added two after I bought her). She’s the older model, so no updated beater. I did make a footrest with a few pieces of 1x4 which I will throw in if you want. I also bought a wooden beam cover from Glimakra USA, which is included in the price. If you don’t want it, I will adjust (but if you think you’d ever need it, I’m not sure they’re made any more). She did not come with warping sticks, but I had some of mine cut down for her and will include them. They might need a bit of sanding on the cut ends, but seem pretty smooth (haven’t used them).
Also included:
Lease sticks
Shaft holders
Horses
3 reeds (8, 10, 15 dpi)
Julia DVD
Joanne Hall’s book Learning to Warp Your Loom
Assembly instructions
GlimakraUSA booklet
All the Texsolv and pegs
Vavstuga shaft “bra” (this was very handy!)
Vavstuga triangles (new, unopened)
Sleying hook
Some other bits and bobs
A new Julia (granted with the heavier beater and the footrest) sells for $1500. Asking $1100, buyer to pay for packing and shipping if desired. This will fit in my car unassembled, and I’m willing to drive a fair distance to meet or deliver if desired for gas money.
