Macomber Type B loom: http://www.macomberloom.com/Type_B_Folding_Looms.html with a 56” weaving width, 8 shafts and 10 treddles with two back beams. There are two open spots for macomber “AD-A-HARNESS” units.
I don’t know when this loom was constructed, but it has been recently cleaned and reconditioned. I replaced a few interior parts including the brake circle and apron bar ties, and new flat steel heddles. It is in great condition and ready to do some weaving! It works great, it’s just too big for my current space. I’ve woven several rugs on it, as well as some alpaca wool fabric for a jacket.
Included with the loom are two lease sticks, raddle, crank handle, many treddle hooks, and three 56” reeds. The 6-dent and 8-dent reeds are in good condition, the 10-dent reed could use a good cleaning.
I cannot deliver the loom, so you must be able to come pick it up from Durham, North Carolina USA.
