SERIOUSLY
I’m not sure what’s going on here lately - but I’m am now blocking all users for 30 days when they reply publicly to the ads instead of messaging the original poster.
This rule has been in effect for close to 3 years. On every ad placed, I place the above reminder so that no one can say “I didn’t know, or didn’t read the rules.
I place friendly reminders and people are still replying publicly. What’s up with this?
If the blocking of people doesn’t work, my next step will be locking all of the ads once they are posted so no one can reply. The issue with this is the original poster will not be able to edit their ad either and ads will be left up for 1 month only instead of 2 months.
I didn’t want to be a hard ass on this, but enough is enough.
I do want to thank the people who follow the rules here. So, a big and heartfelt thank you goes out those that make my life easier here in this group.
