I have a hankering to try weaving linen from scratch. I have plenty of space to grow and a spring water creek on the property to soak the flax. I’ve even got the hackle to comb it. I am a spinner so getting the thread isn’t a problem.
I’ve only got one functioning hand and leg. I would hate to spend hundreds of dollars on a rigid heddle loom only to find that I am not able to weave. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
