Macomber (Baby Mac) “AD-A-Harness” Loom has 8 harnesses, 10 treadles and 24” weaving width. It was purchased at an estate sale. It has been cleaned and treated with Howard’s Feed-N-Wax. All metal parts were also cleaned and lightly oiled. Considering its age its has a nice patina and is in great condition. The metal tag indicates it is model CP11 and the serial # is 2787. It comes with an 10 dent reed (not SS), flat Aluminum heddles and a bundle of original treadle hooks. My husband made a simple 24” raddle, lease sticks and modified the warp tie-up to make it easier to wrap on the warp from back to front. I made a scarf and found it has a nice action and wove nicely. The loom is 31” wide x 37.5” high x 11” deep when folded, roughly 60 pounds and has leather wrapped handles on either side. It is meant to be portable. Parts are still available from Macomber. New, the loom retails for $1,616. I am asking $600. It can be picked up in North Florida or I am willing to drive up to an hour one way. I will also be driving to Louisville, KY sometime in late August for the birth of a grandchild and I can meet you on the way.
