40” Macomber Type B loom. 1968. 10shafts 16treadles
Bench with storage under seat.
Incredible Rug Loom! But does blankets, scarves, linens beautifully too. I am going to miss those 16 treadles.
Loom has been taken apart for transporting, I have very carefully taped all the screws in their holes for easy assembly. All handles, brake release cord are there.
Everything you need to start weaving except the yarn.
Included: 1000 inserted eye heddles, 100’s of spare wire heddles, Dozens of super hooks as well as original treadle hooks. 3 apron rods, Lease sticks, 2 homemade raddles, 6 reeds, various dents, lengths, some stainless some carbon, 2 are still rusty. 1 boat shuttle with 2bobbins, reed threader, Brand New 10yard FiberArts Supply warping board. 20lb weight I used to attached to the beater for incredible rug packing oomf. Macomber Looms and Me by Sarah Haskell, maintenance/manuel (vaseline and q-tips included)
This loom is a work horse and in decent shape for its age. I loved weaving on her, especially rugs. I bought another loom and must make room.
Lots of help here on Ravelry and in the Macomber Looms Group.
