Some basic information I omitted from my initial post. This is an 8-shaft, 10-treadle loom. The dent that is included is 10dpi. Three or 4 others sized dents are available for it - 6, 12, and 15, I believe. Send me a PM if you think of any other information I omitted. Thanks.
I am offering my Louet David Loom for sale. This is a well-engineered loom which allows you to weave up to a 35” wide fabric without having to deal with a loom the size of your room. It’s footprint is 41” wide and 24” deep when closed, 32” deep when open. It is, relatively speaking, light weight and yet quite steady. When folded it will fit through a household door without dismantling anything. The system of cams and springs make treadling a breeze, even when several shafts are tied up to one treadle. I added the friction brake which allows you to advance the warp without getting up. The Loom also has a built-in raddle. This loom has the overhead beater as you can see in the pictures. It works very well to produce a nice even fell line. If you have any questions, please contact me using the PM system.
I am the second owner of this loom. The first owner did not pass along the lease sticks or warp separators, so they are not available to be included in this sale. I warp front to back, so the lease sticks has never been an issue for me and I think we all have our own favorite ways to separate the warp when winding on. I am asking for $1450 and you will need to make arrangements to pick in up in Boonville, Missouri, which is in the middle of the State, just off I-70.
