Free: I have a homemade loom of unknown vintage that I took on as a restoration project. I have gone far enough to know that I do not desire to keep it, so I am hoping to place it in a good home.
Weaving width is 44”, 8 shafts/10 treadles. It is a jack loom with an action similar to a Macomber loom, with overhead jacks in the castle connecting to lamms down below. I believe it to be complete with the exception of missing the rod that the warp beam mounts on.
I have only hung 3 shafts, for photo purposes, and have not mounted the lamms. This loom will require a few new parts and a wee bit more TLC in order to become weaving-ready.
Pick-up only in the Seattle area. I am willing to deliver within a reasonable distance, and help with assembly as requested.
More information is found by clicking on any photo and reviewing the project page. Per group rules, please PM me if interested.
I have also posted this loom in the “Find of the Day” thread in this group.
