This is an eight shaft ten treadle loom that was originally four shafts six treadles. It has an overhead beater. Its footprint (measuring the longest distance for each) is 60 inches high, 48 inches wide and 48 inches deep with a weaving width of 39 inches.
It came to me with a regular warp beam. At the time I preferred sectional weaving and installed a sectional beam. I’ve since stopped warping sectionally but simply removed the sectional loops. The buyer can install the regular beam, or perhaps use both beams.
The heddles are not Texsolve; I believe they are nylon and there are lots of them. I’ve been very pleased weaving with them. All lines are Texsolve and I have replaced almost all of the anchor pegs with arrow pegs as I think they’re easier on the fingers.
I have fitted the warp beam with twill tapes for attaching two inch warp sections.
