Bench is approx 32” wide and can be positioned tilted, rocking or level in two heights. Storage drawer beneath.
There are pins to lock the beater upright while threading. The warp beam is HUGE - don’t need many warp sticks.
Size is 43” wide x 36 3/4” deep. With the warp beam removed and the back beam folded up, depth is 27 3/4”.
I purchased this loom through my weaving guild in the fall of 2014. It was my first floor loom. I’ve woven kitchen towels, multiple scarves, several baby blankets, including an 8-shaft huck lace, and numerous samples.
The previous owner said the loom was from the late 1970s. It has some marks/stains on the wood, especially the seat.
I found this loom comfortable to weave on and easy to find which treadle to use without looking. You can advance the warp while seated.
Just bought a loom I can upgrade to 12 shafts - and don’t need both looms.
