Beautiful Oak Loom in like new condition. Made by the Kessenich Company in Allegan, Michigan in 2003. Built of red oak with a 14” weaving width. Use on tabletop or use with the included stand and bench. Handoperated 8 Shaft Loom. Canvas aprons are standard on warp & cloth beams. 3 position beater. Warp releases are fine tooth steel ratchet. 8 Shaft Castle. $850.

I have about 486 (that’s what I counted) texsolv heddles that are 9 3/8”. 9 3/8 inch fits Schacht Baby and Mighty Wolf, Leclerc Dorothy Looms & Glimakra Julia.
These were with a used Kombo and I didn’t realize they were the wrong size until I tried to add some.

This loom was built by Toijalan Kaidethehdas, which became Toika as stated here https://www.toika.com/en/company/history/. This loom is comparable to the Laila which was designed for weavers with a smaller workspace or for a second loom for sampling. It has six heddles and six treadles. It is a countermarch loom. It uses the texsolv system. It measures approximately 33.25 in deep x 32 in. wide x 48 in tall. It comes with two reeds designated 35 and 40 and a raddle. These are the European designations for the size of the reeds.The treadles work easily. This is for local pickup only in east central Indiana. I am asking $750 for it. You must transport the loom.

I am selling my beloved 48” Shannock tapestry loom. There is simply no room for it in my new studio. I am selling it for $1500. I paid close to $3000 for it. I am the second owner.
It’s an all steel, extremely sturdy 2 harness, 4 treadle (2 sets of 2 treadles) upright loom. It comes with a cartoon holder, built-in raddle, several extra heddle setts & new holders for making different setts, the manual and all the necessary pieces. Shannocks are noted for maintaining very tight tensions; and since it’s all steel, you can warp it w/ traditional yarns or even wire without any fear of damaging the beams.
It’s currently disassembled and all pieces wrapped & carefully labeled and ready for pickup.
It was in a flood several years ago, so there may be some scarring of the metal legs and lower pieces; but it works perfectly. I have not had it assembled for 4 years. I cleaned it all up and disassembled it and carefully wrapped all pieces. Some bolts may need replacing but they are easily replaced. For these reasons I’ve placed a low selling price on it. I don’t remember seeing any horrible scarring of the lower pieces; but as I said, it’s been wrapped for several years.
I cannot ship it. You are welcome to have a shipping company pick it up and then having it crated and shipped to you or if you’re on the east coast, near NYC where I live and the loom is located, you can pick it up yourself.

Glimakra Viking 4 shaft 36” loom for sale. Texsolv tie-ups and heddles. Fabulous friction brake. My weaving students did not like threading the Texsolv heddles, so this one has got to go. Comes with the original approx 400 heddles, extra Texsolv cords and some pegs, original lease sticks and warp packing sticks. I can include a Hammett warping board. $400. Pick-up only, Richmond, VA.
This will fit any standard loom and will give up to 24 yards of warp. (the wider the loom, the more warp you can wind)
Recesses have been drilled to fit over the end bolts that hold the side uprights together -- if you have a NEW Glimakra Standard. There is an extra recess, because we forgot that there is a left side and a right side (see picture)! This Frame will fit the NEW Standards and any of the OLD standards.
If you want to put it on an ideal, send me the height of the furthermost upright (closest to the back beam) and I’ll let you know if it will fit.
You can wind anywhere from 18 yd to 24 yd -- depending on the width of your loom.
It attaches to the back without drilling. The Wood straps that are on the top and bottom of each half of the frame hold it in place with nuts and bolts.

I just acquired an old Leclerc Nilus. It is 45 Inches and has 8 harnesses with room to add 4. The guy at LeClerc said it was over 50 years old and they don’t make the harnesses any more for this loom. I’d be interested in seeking out old parts if they are out there. It seems to work ok. The harnesses are a bit sticky but I am working on cleaning and waxing the guide channels (wood).
If any one has parts or has woven with this old type nilus please chime in and tell me a thing or two!

I am trying to help a family sell a loom that belonged to weaver who died recently. They know absolutely nothing about looms, but it has been in a climate controlled house since it was bought new. The woman ordered it from Oregon, and was intimidated by the complexity, so never used it (in fact, by the looks of the pictures, she never put the heddles on it)
I am posting the pictures that my friend sent me - including the bill of sale when she had it delivered to Canada. As you can see - some nice accessories, and she paid almost 14 thousand US dollars for it at the time.
It is in Kingsville Ontario Canada, which is on the north shore of Lake Erie, less than an hour south of Detroit.
They priced it at 2500 dollars, which with my limited knowledge seems to be a pretty good deal - I am not a skilled enough weaver to require anything this deluxe.
If you want further information, she has authorized me to give out her phone number - so private message me if you want to call her and talk. Just be forewarned, they don’t have any idea about looms (they sold all the other looms in the house for a paltry price unfortunately)
Of course - this is pick up only - they will not ship either, as they didn’t even know it could be taken apart.

The loom is in great condition. Nothing wrong with it, I just don’t need two looms, since my Flip can do anything the Cricket can do, and then some. I’d like $275 for both, plus exact shipping to you.
I might consider splitting the set up, too, in which case I would like $175 for the loom and $100 for the stand.
Webs sells the stand for $138, and the loom for $195, which adds up to $333.
The loom comes with two additional shuttle sticks, and I’ll throw in my winding paper.

Herald Loom, jack type, 4 harnesses. Older loom (circa 1948), make offer but must be picked up within a month.
The loom has one sticking shaft (which might be easily fixed) and some bore beetle damage on the board near the treadles, otherwise the loom is solid. It still works great. It comes with a sectional warping beam as well as a standard beam. It also comes with a weaving bench and lots of other yarn handling equipment including a cute little vertical reel, several reeds, etc.
I have an Ashford 8” wide SampleIt rigid heddle loom for sale. It comes with three reeds, 5, 10 and 12.5 dent and has been used four times. $100 plus shipping from WA state.
