Louet Delta 130 (51”) 12 harness loom / 14 treadles

The Louet Delta is a countermarch loom and is equipped with a friction brake device on the warp beam and a ratchet advancing system on the cloth beam. It is made of lacquered ash.

Dimensions (wxdxh):
Delta 130 - 160 x 100 x 128 cm (63” x 39 3/8” x 50 3/8”).
Weight: Delta 130 - 93 kg (205 lb)

This is an amazing loom made of solid hardwood.The Majacraft rigid heddle loom enables you to weave with different size dent segments,giving you variety with your warp!This is wonderful for art yarn,adding wonderful texture to your work.The heddle is magnetically held in place making the weaving motion much easier and faster.The loom can also hold 2 heddles which allows you to weave hundreds of patterns !You don’t need a warping frame….this loom has one on the back of it!
The stand which is solid oak is a beautiful piece to display the loom,and is so easy to use.The loom fits in two slots and has 2 screws which are tightened for braces.The angle of the loom can be changed to whatever works for you.The loom also folds up and can be stored easily , right on the stand.

Newcomb Weavers Delight Loom

For Sale: Newcomb “Weaver’s Delight” 4 Harness, 45” wide floor loom. Does not have the shuttle catch ends anymore…which I preferred. This loom uses cams (and comes with extras bought), that lift the harnesses in the pattern you choose, and as the beater is brought forward, the harnesses and shed then change and the automatic cloth advance kicks in, or you can adjust the brake system. Very easy and quick to do yardage or rugs! I have made everything from rugs to tapestries to cloth yardage on this versatile loom. It has a sectional beam, but I turn those over and use as a regular beam also. Comes with a 12 dent reed, instructions and patterns and a parts list. Very GOOD condition. Pick up only in N. Ga. area. This is a picture of the loom when set up…it is now disassembled. Asking $450.

FS: Fireside Traditional Tapestry Loom - 60” in cherry

Incredibly beautiful Fireside traditional tapestry loom in solid cherry. Built in 1987, the cherry wood is gradually acquiring the rich, warm patina of maturity (kinda like the rest of us, only better). An outstanding piece of craftsmanship, this loom would be the centerpiece in any room in which it resides, even when it is “undressed.” It is hard to put into words the beauty and craftsmanship in this loom. Even the pictures fall short. This is truly an heirloom piece.

Weaving width is 60”. Footprint is approximately 5’ deep by 7’ wide by 6 ½’ tall. Eight-dent reed. Tex-solv heddles. Tensioning system is ratchet and pawl on upper beam, worm gear on lower beam. Chain tie-ups. The treadles have rollers on the end, so they need to be on a firm surface – carpet interferes with their operation.

Also includes a 60” cherry commuter bench.

Being 28 years old, it has acquired a few minor bumps and bruises, but haven’t we all by that age. The canvas has some staining by the grommets. However, replacement canvas is available from Fireside Fiberarts if desired. They are extremely helpful people and can answer any questions you might have.

Would prefer to not ship this loom because of potential for damage and the cost. We live 2 hours SE of St Louis. If you are in the region, we can bring it to you and help you set it up or meet you halfway for the transfer. You’re also welcome to come to the farm to pick it up, meet Kaibab and our wonderful alpacas.

UPDATE: I’ve dropped the price on the loom from $3500 to $3000. On a sadder note, Kaibab left this world last week and is with our other four-legged friends who are waiting for me at the Rainbow Bridge.

I went whole hog and decided weaving is not for me. I made a few scarves and placemats, but essentially this set is practically new.

I have the following for sale as one complete set for $360 (actual cost was $500 for everything), plus shipping:

15” Schacht Cricket loom with everything including manual and instruction book, taken down and placed into original box. Sorry, no yarn that came with the original set. The yarn is the only thing missing from this.

15” Schacht Cricket loom stand. Comes with all parts, an instruction manual, and taken down to ship.

15” Schacht Cricket loom variable dent reed heddle with six 5-dent reed sections, four 8-dent reed sections, six 10-dent reed sections, six 12-dent reed sections.

Two pick up sticks.

One Schacht 16” shuttle extra (the loom comes with two shuttles already).

image.jpegI received this loom as a rescue and my husband and I have put some time and effort into cleaning and setting up with texsolv instead of chains. I have woven on the loom and it is sound. It has a sectional beam and second back beam. I’m using my 40 inch reed from another loom because the two that came with it were not in good condition. I still have them. Also have lease sticks to fit 45 inch.

Pick up only or I can rent a truck and add it to the price for local delivery near Portland.

My time is not my own these days and I don’t want to have this lovely old sweetie sitting idle in my front room. She needs to be loved on.
It’s not a project loom per se but to really make her sing more cleaning and tuning would be optimal.

100 dollars plus truck rental if desired. I am 25 miles west of Portland Oregon.
