Hoping to find a better home for the Julia loom that is sitting here lonely and unused. This came to me as a 2 harness counterbalance (I will include all the parts to that with the sale so you have a choice) but I upgraded it to a 8 shaft countermarch. Right now its setup as a 4 shaft countermarch.

The loom comes with all of the parts for the 8 shaft version, 12 dent reed and all of the heddles (including some I never put on). This is a great loom to weave on but for me I just don’t have the time and just keeping up with one loom is a lot for me right now.

I bought the loom from the Mannings in PA - it was a display loom but rarely used. New it costs $1850; I’m selling for $900. I’m located a little south of Denver, CO. The loom fits (fully assembled) in a small SUV. Sorry - not willing to ship. But I would be open to driving and meeting someone within a reasonable distance if that works for you.

Here is a picture of it as a 2 shaft CB - it is a great loom to weave on (and the red is so cute!)

I have a darling Sweedish Lillstina Floor Loom for sale. She has a 28” weaving width and comes with a 12 dent reed. She has hand-tied linen heddles and four shafts controlled by hand levers at the top of the loom. She is fairly light weight and easy to transport (her legs can be removed), so she’d be ideal for taking to workshops or guild meetings. She is so darn cute--I was smitten with her the moment I met her. Unfortunately, we are moving overseas and I’m forced to downsize my stash. Asking $500. Located in Hampton Roads, VA and would prefer local pick-up. Willing to drive one hour from 23434. Her legs can be easily unscrewed, so I could possibly ship at buyer’s expense. PM me with questions. 22” (weaving width) Leclerc Meco/Dorothy with 6 treadle stand. Can be used as either a table or floor loom. Has the tension spring brake & Texsolv loop cord /peg treadle tie up. Easily separated for transport.

Included with loom: 2 reeds (12 & 4 dent), 1 boat shuttle w/ 4 bobbins, 2 stick shuttles, warping sticks, extra heddles, cording, 2 heddle hooks and 22” high wood stool.

I’ve struggled with this decision, but I guess in the end I need my dining room back, and perhaps I don’t need 6 floor looms.

Flavia the Ideal came to live with me just a few short months ago. She is a spry little old lady born in the ’70s. She underwent a deal of cosmetic surgery to fill her original 4 shafts out to 8 shafts with corresponding lamms and jacks, and 8 treadles.

She is a horizontal countermarch. The Ideals are no longer being built. The 39” size makes her a great fit for a small home or apartment. I have a Glimakra Standard (my second) that I am keeping and can assure you that these looms are well built, beautiful, quiet and extremely functional. There is an abundance of support available on the Glimakra forum here on Ravelry.

Included is the loom, the bench, brand new Texsolv heddles, the Vavstuga tie-up system, warp sticks, lease sticks, tieup cords and one reed of my choice in good condition, either 10 or 12 dent.

Not included are the sheepskin, the bench basket and the puppy (just in case he snuck into the picture!)

Asking $2395, local pickup in Seattle preferred. This loom breaks down very easily except for the end gables. You can easily transport it in an Suv by putting the gables on the roof or in some cases it has been reported that the gables will fit inside the SUV (such as a Forester or Tahoe).

I am looking for a smaller countermarche loom, or a Louet David (preferably 90 cm) somewhere relatively near Nashville, TN. I am willing to drive for the right loom, but I would like to keep it under 6 hours each way.

Near Madison WI. (Waunakee)Buyer picks up. $50. This is a 30” weaving width loom. The dpi on the beater reed is 18-20. 18 gaps per inch. It has a heddle which you life up and down with 2 hands. It has slots and holes. It must be an early rigid heddle type. The treadle looking thing is actually the mechanism that helps hold the two positions. The crank handle is shared for front and rear beam. It comes with lease sticks and a raddle. Lease sticks are sitting on bottom frame in one of the pictures. It is musty smelling so airing out in the sun would help. I think this is near antique age. And lovely for fine, plain weave

Holds the reed in position for sleying and keeps a hold on the lease sticks as well. They are 12” long by 2.5” wide by 1” (standard 1”x3” board)

It is shipped unassembled as it would be easier to store when not in use. You may want to go ahead and glue it if storage is not an issue. I suggest using a carpenter grade glue.

Selling an older non-folding Schacht rigid heddle loom. The loom is 25” and weaving width is close to 21”. In near perfect condition, maybe a very very slight cosmetic blemish here or there due to age. Comes with the trestle stand, instruction book, one heddle, an extra apron rod, lease sticks and these two metal pieces whose use I haven’t figured out- the apron rod, lease sticks and mystery pieces have been sitting to the side, never used (I’ve always direct warped it). $220 and I can meet in the D.C. area or you can pick up in College Park, MD.

$45 buys you approximately 15 lbs of 100% wool mill end strips, aka “worms”, from a famous US mill.. Neutral, browns, and blue-greens. These worms are about a yard or more long and make great rugs.

Also included is some yarn on cones and ribbons. Great for practice weaving.

Smoke free house. I do have a dog, but the materials were kept in plastic bins.
