I have a used Leclerc Tension Box for sale. It is in very good condition, includes 3 sizes of reeds: 4 dent, 12 dent (2 sets), 15 dent. I received this tension box with a loom I acquired but I already have a tension box so hopefully someone will give it a good home. I can’t find the 2nd adjustable tensioning dowel, but can’t imagine the function of tensioning will suffer much for this loss.

FS: a gently used solid cherry Norwood jack floor loom with a weaving width of 51 inches. It has four shafts and six treadles with a sectional back beam with removable pegs. It comes with a carbon 15 dent reed. It has metal ratchets on both beams for a secure tension. It’s missing the back beam handle, but other than that the loom is in very good condition. I’m asking $600 for it. It’s located in Boise, Idaho. The project on the loom does not come with the loom.

This is a 4 headle, 6 treadle loom with 20” of weaving width. While it does fold, you cannot fold it with the warp intact. The folding is for storage purposes.

The loom is 26” wide with a depth of 20” when folded, 44’ unfolded. The loom comes with a rocking bench and the front beam folds flat to the floor for warping. Original paperwork for the loom will also be included.

I have replaced the treadle chains with Texsolv, but I kept the chains and they will be provided to the buyer. The loom comes with a 10 dent reed that has only been used one time.

I will also be including a homemade warping frame. The frame is missing a few dowels and is quite large, but it’s good for anyone just starting out. I’ve used it until recently when I purchased a warping mill.

I’ve tried to include enough pictures to show the condition of the loom. What I did not capture was some of the missing pegs on the back beam. I have woven several items without that being an issue.

Asking $300 for the loom and bench (the warping board is being included for free) I live in the Atlanta Suburbs and I can meet someone within an hour or so of Atlanta.

Four shaft, six treadle, high castle floor loom. Weaving width: 45”; overall width 56 3/4”, depth 41” (open) and 26” folded.

Solidly built of rock maple, this loom is in excellent condition with original assembly instructions and lease sticks; missing handle for back beam (17 mm socket or ratchet wrench works just fine).

Includes: Harrisville Designs tool tray, bobbin winder and large bench, as well as five carbon-steel reeds: 45” 10, 12 and 15 dent reeds and 40” 8 and 10 dent reeds.

This loom is in perfect working order but does have a few cosmetic blemishes. I like to say that they add character as you can see that this loom has been used, however I recently replaced the brake system and this loom weaves as well as a brand new one. Made in 1987. 8 dent slightly rusted reed and Leclerc bench included. Lots of inserted eye heddles however I haven’t counted them. 46” weaving width so perfect for all your weaving projects and baby wraps! New this loom and bench would retail for close to $4700. My price for the used loom and bench is $2000. Pick up only in kitty Hawk NC aka the Outer Banks of NC.

Because I’m not allowed to exceed my allotted space in my studio, have to sell Sarah, a wonderful Gilmore Compact.

Here are the details:
-46-inch weaving width. Footprint open is 53 inches wide x 35 inches deep. Back beam can be removed and back bar folded up to reduce depth to ~30 inches so will fit through doorway. Loom is very sturdy, can weave rugs, but is not too heavy for two adults to easily carry. Advantage of Gilmore is that no warping sticks or other packing is needed for winding on warp due to unique engineering of back beam.
-8 harness, 14 treadles
-Completely updated with “no-spin” kit installed on warp beam, front beam made removable using kit from Gilmore and back beam turned over so harnesses don’t lift up.
-LeClerc open-ended bench with caribou skin cover included
-4 reeds: two, new Gowdy stainless steel reeds (8 and 12 dent)
two, older serviceable carbon steel reeds (10 and 15 dent)
-Gilmore warping wedge (almost brand new) to stack harnesses for easy threading
-Gilmore raddle (used once) included
-Lease sticks
-Inserted eye heddles, around 2000 of them
-New tie-ups for the treadles from Gilmore
-Weighted beater bar with removable weights (for rug weaving)

Doing a studio “right sizing”, realized I have no looms with sectional beams now, so it’s time to rehome my AVL Warping Wheel. I bought it with an AVL WDL brand-spanking-new in 2009, assembled it, played with it a little, and it sat. Turns out I liked mechanical dobby looms, so I got a dobby for my Baby Wolf off of craigslist and a few years later, traded the WDL for a Louet Magic Dobby. My weaving adventure continues, but I don’t need the Warping Wheel for it now.

So, for sale: AVL Warping Wheel, bought new in 2009, assembled and put through a trial run only. Includes a spare bobbin, original instructions and DVD (in the bag on the wheel). Like new. $300.
