12 dent reed
Over 1000 flat steel heddles

This floor loom is in very good condition with minor scratches on the breast beam. The treadles and cables are brand new and installed myself when it was converted from a four treadle direct tie up to six treadles. This is an excellent beginner’s loom and the width gives able space for larger projects. The 12 dent reed and abundance of heddles will give you the ability to create a very wide range of projects from plain weave to twill to overshot. This same loom as listed would retail for approximately $2200 brand new. I am unable to transport so it will need to be picked up from my home in far west San Antonio.

The loom is in good condition with minor scratches and discoloration. There is no rot or rust. It has been well cared for and has served me well. I have upgraded to a larger loom and no longer have space for this one. The Baby Macs are little workhorse looms that are extremely portable and fold up to a small foot print. They fit easily in the trunk of a car and weigh about 50 lbs. This same loom as listed would run approximately $2,000 brand new. I have included pictures of two projects on the loom to demonstrate some of the simpler items that can be woven using this loom.

FS: 22" Harrisville 4H/4T Loom
Selling my dearly loved 22” Harrisville Designs floor loom. Features 4 harnesses and 4 treadles. Both the front and back beams fold up so the loom has a tiny footprint…about 15” deep when folded! You can even keep your project on the loom with it folded. I recently upgraded the harness tie ups to Texsolv and am getting a fantastic shed when weaving on it. The harnesses are easily adjusted with the Texsolv cord should you need to make any changes. The loom uses ratchet/pawl tension, which has served me well. Also included is the sectional warp beam upgrade (over $200 new from Harrisville!) and a bench that may need a little TLC to be fully functional.
Here’s everything that is included:
22” Harrisville Designs Floor Loom - 4T / 4H
22” 12 dent reed (some surface discoloration, but weaves fine)
18” 10 dent reed (some surface discoloration, but weaves fine)
Approximately 125 flat steel heddles (in good condition)
Schacht boat shuttle
Three Leclerc bobbins
Leclerc reed hook
Sectional warp kit
Bench - may need a little TLC to be in perfect working order
Asking $500 for everything. Located in Asheville, NC and willing to meet within a couple hours’ drive. The loom folds up quite compact and fits in my Toyota Corolla, in case vehicle space is a concern. This is the perfect loom for the new weaver, quick projects, or to take a break from a more complex project on your larger loom.

FS: Structo 4-harness table loom

FS: Loomcraft 45" 8S/12T Maple
Maple Loomcraft loom 45” weaving width. 8 Shafts/12 Treadles. Selling it with it’s matching bench, and lease sticks. Comes two carbon steel reeds: 45” 12-dent reed, and 36” 8-dent reed. Approximately 1100 heddles. Treadle tie ups have been changed to Texsolv. There is enough Texsolve for all the possible tie ups! $700.
Bench is approx 32” wide and can be positioned tilted, rocking or level in two heights. Storage drawer beneath.
There are pins to lock the beater upright while threading. The warp beam is HUGE - don’t need many warp sticks.
Size is 43” wide x 36 3/4” deep. With the warp beam removed and the back beam folded up, depth is 27 3/4”.
I purchased this loom through my weaving guild in the fall of 2014. It was my first floor loom. I’ve woven kitchen towels, multiple scarves, several baby blankets, including an 8-shaft huck lace, and numerous samples.
The previous owner said the loom was from the late 1970s. It has some marks/stains on the wood, especially the seat.
I found this loom comfortable to weave on and easy to find which treadle to use without looking. You can advance the warp while seated.
Just bought a loom I can upgrade to 12 shafts - and don’t need both looms.
