Seven cones of GORGEOUS brushed kid mohair/silk yarn for sale:

The yarn is 40% silk and 60% kid mohair, approximately 6000 yards per pound. It’s similar to Kidsilk Haze, but is slightly finer, and is also more lustrous due to the higher silk content - 40% silk vs. 30% for Kidsilk Haze. (It’s also less than 1/4 the retail price for Kidsilk Haze!) It’s really luscious yarn - I’m only selling because I got a TON of it and need to destash some.

Each of the seven cones weighs 980g or 2.16 lbs. (I subtracted 40g for the weight of the cardboard cone)

The Louet David is a compactly constructed floor loom that takes less floor space, but still has many of the same features of a large floor loom.

This loom has the old style beater and has only had a couple of warps on it. It does not have the friction brake. It is in excellent condition. This loom is pick up only unless you arrange for shipping. $2000

I have a set of AVL single shuttle flyboxes for sale. I have the two boxes and the cord, handle, and pickers. What I don’t include is the two bars that the cord clips to on the loom upper support. I think something could be easily and cheaply made.

I have two sets of 16 bars of AVL dobby chain for $16.00 each + shipping of your choice. These are perfectly usable bars but they don’t look so nice. You will need to replace the masking tape on the bars. Once chain has been used a lot the holes for the dobby pegs get loose and this is the fix. Sold as is:

I also have one chain of 16 dobby bars that is new for $45.00 + shipping of your choice. The chain is not connected. AVL sells the bars now without the links and you use the mylar tape to connect them. You can also use plastic zip ties:

My loom is still for sale, this is (in my opinion) a real bargain for someone starting out or wanting a wider loom.

Totally functional, this is an older Harrisville loom, that is sturdy and sound. Has lots of life left. I have replaced all of the heddles with inserted eye heddles, and purchased a new stainless steel 10 dent reed.

I need the space.

I have a loom for sale because I no longer am using it. It has been much loved and is in great working condition.
It is a Pendleton, made in Sedona, AZ. I got it in 1976, but I don’t know how old it is.
It is 42” wide, is collapsible, has multiple beater reeds, multiple sized heddles, and 4 harnesses.
It comes with a warping board and multiple shuttles.

This little loom is really cute. It comes with an 8 dpi reed. It has cotton string heddles. It would be great for a first loom or somebody wanting a simple, compact loom with treadles. It does not have levers but can be worked by hand. It works best with the stand.
It might be home made as I’ve only seen one other like it and there is no maker’s mark. It comes apart in three pieces. It appears that the loom itself doesn’t fold, but the treadle stand folds and the “tray/shelf” also comes off. It seems to work just fine without the “tray/shelf” as well.

Schacht maple floor loom
46” weaving width; full width of loom approximately 54”
4 shafts, 6 treadles, low castle
approximately 560 flat steel heddles in good condition

Loom is located in Boulder, Colorado.

This loom was made in 1984 according to the serial number. I bought it from the original owner about a year ago, and I’ve done some refurbishing - new stainless steel reed, new Texsolv apron rod cords, enough new tie-ups so there’s a full set of 24, replaced a few missing nuts and washers here and there, etc. It’s in really great condition now. I hate to part with this loom, but I’m moving soon and can’t take it with me.

The accessories:

• 46” 15-dent stainless steel reed, less than a year old
• 32” 10-dent carbon steel reed (rusty and needs cleaning)
• 11 yard warping board
• several stick shuttles
• heddle hook
• reed hook
• 6 yard roll of 48” corrugated cardboard (needs to be trimmed down to 46” so it will fit)
• a few miscellaneous cones of yarn, mostly worsted weight wool
