For sale in Eugene, Oregon, a 4 shaft, 6 treadle, 36” weaving width floor loom by Harrisville Designs. I rebuilt this 1979 loom after obtaining it, in pieces, from someone who did not want it in their garage. Using the original specifications I built replacements for any water damaged pieces with various species of hardwood. I sourced flat steel heddles for the four shafts. I replaced the tieup chains and made new shaft cables, using closing clips instead of hooks. (No more shafts jumping off their cables!)

I purchased the 4-to-6 treadle conversion kit (a $310 value) and the friction brake conversion kit (a $155 value) from Harrisville and installed them. I replaced the tie on bars with new ones, and replaced the cloth beam ties with Texsolv which is easier than flat ribbon when spreading your warp.

The front and back of the loom can fold for storage or transport.
Also included are two new stainless steel Glimakra reeds, 36”, an 8 dent and a 10 dent. These are valued at $108 each.

The upgrades and the reeds are worth a total of $681, and of course that’s not including the loom itself. Asking $1,000 with both reeds, or $900 with your choice of one reed, or $800 without either reed. Located in Eugene, Oregon. Local delivery may be possible, and I am willing to work with a loom railroader.
