FS 19" Gilmarka Loom
19 ” Gilmarka Loom comes with the stand, 3 heddles (2 are still in factory wrap) 1 shuttle, and a bag. I have everything that came in the factory box. FS: Southern end feed shuttles and pirns
I need to reduce the number of shuttles that I have collected. I am listing 2 end feed shuttles made by the Southern company. The model number is 4-434 on both, although one is slightly larger and heavier than the other. The shuttles are 14 inches long.
There is no tensioning mechanism that I could ever find, but I discovered two ways of tensioning the yarn. While taking a workshop with Katie Meek, she tied some thread through the shuttle (green cotton) and that has provided enough tension on the yarn for years.
I have also found that I can loop the yarn around the metal guide of the shuttle to get tension.
These shuttles served me well since I found them to be an economical introduction to weaving with endfeed shuttles. Now that I have splurged on more expensive ones, I will pass them on to another weaver.
Asking $35 each or $60 for both plus shipping. There are 19 pirns, so if sold separately there will be either 9 or 10 pirns included.

I do love this loom and I have two floor looms without enough real estate for both in my loom room. So, one must go to a new owner.

FS: Macomber 8 harness floor loom-20" NC
I am selling my Macomber CP-11 floor loom. It has 8 harnesses, 2 back beams (1 sectional with friction brake), and a weaving width of 20”.
I purchased it used in 1996, and it has been in use regularly since. I decided I wanted just a little wider yardage, so I just bought a 26” used loom, so need to free some space. These little portable looms are great because they fold flat, have wheels on one side, and a handle for carrying. I never used the sectional warp beam, so I don’t know about the friction brake operation. I always used the plain beam. The handle for the plain beam was missing when I bought it, and I use a wrench to beam the warp, but I am sure a replacement can still be purchased from Macomber. There is a loose leather flap on the handle. It is cosmetic only and doesn’t affect usage of the handle.
There are a few reeds that came with the loom, but they aren’t in great condition. I got them that way, and never tried to rehab them. There is a macomber stainless steel reed-15 dent. Metal is in great condition on that one, but the wrapping on the edges is a bit tattered.
Folded completely it is only 11 X 25 X 38, so it easily fits in a closet or car, and can be stored with a project on. Weight is about 50 lbs.

FSOT: small antique floor loom
This is a project loom for someone. It can’t be shipped. I’m located in the Temecula/Hemet area of Southern California. I’ve cleaned it and tinkered with it some, and have it set up with two shafts, but there are two more. I haven’t woven on it. ISO: Threading Hooks, Fringe Twister, Bobbins
Hello!
I am starting weaving for the first time and am looking for threading hooks (reed and heddle), fringe twister (preferably quadruple), bobbins and perhaps a bobbin winder (if I can find one really cheap, otherwise I plan to use a drill :)). Checking here before going retail. If I find some in Houston, so much the better.
I am open to suggestions if you’d like to unload anything else I might be missing to start. So far I am a proud owner of a 48” Macomber loom with 4 harnesses, a bench, some leasing sticks, a warping board and a few shuttles (as well as a whole lot of yarn).
