FS: 24inch kromski harp and stand $280/$250

$

24 inch Kromski harp rigid heddle loom with stand, all original accessories, extra ratchet and pawl set, original instructions and pamphlet, and two 24 inch ashford heddles (which, obviously, work with this loom) in sizes 12.5 dpi and 7.5 dpi. The heddle that came with it is 10dpi so you’ll have a wide range of weaving yarn warp options. Also has an additional 20 inch stick shuttle on top of the two that came with the loom.

Harp comes with a 10-dent heddle, 2 stick shuttles, a pick-up stick, threading hook, 2 clamps, a warping peg, warping board pegs and the very helpful “Warp Helper”.

Also has the Kromski adjustable 24 inch loom stand. I am glad to have this, it does have table clamps but it’s so much more pleasant to weave with it on the stand. It’s a finished loom, so you won’t need to stain or seal it and I especially love that you can flip it over and use the back as a warping board. While it’s easy to direct warp the loom and it’s how I normally weave, I’ve used the warping board and included pegs as a niddy noddy for skeining hand spun or dyed yarn in a pinch and I’ve also used it to make a big giant skein for dying self striping sock yarn.

I’m selling to downgrade to a cricket loom or other small lap loom. Despite my intentions, I never weave more than a scarf’s width and need to be realistic with my crafting goals and supplies.

This is a loved and used loom and does have some scratches, but is in perfectly functional condition.

$280 shipped in the US or $250 locally and I’ll drive a ways to meet you(portland OR metro area)

FS: Schacht 4H6T Baby Wolf

I am the new owner of an 8 harness loom, so my 4 harness Baby Wolf has to go. Comes with the stroller, a front tray (super handy!) and a hook.

I am the second owner. This loom was made in 1989 and was used during the 1990s. It sat for a while until I bought it from the owner’s son in 2010-ish. I have been using it ever since. I have had no problems at all with it.

The wood has a lovely golden patina. You can see in one of the photos below that it was stored folded and the color did not change the same under the brackets.

Asking $900. I am in Denver (80207) and it would be bulky and expensive to ship. You are welcome to have someone come and crate it and ship it of course.

FS: Lot of 73 Older Weaving/Spinning Magazines

$

This is a lot of older spinning and weaving magazines from the late 1970’s through early/mid 1980’s. Included are: Interweave, Shuttle Spindle & Dyepot, Handwoven, Spin-Off, and one issue of Spinnerin from 1963. These are all in pretty darn good shape for their age and some still have the original paper dust cover that they were mailed in. Weaving and spinning are the same today that they were back then, so all of the information contained in these magazines is relevant to today’s fiber artist and is a great source of inspiration. I’ve really enjoyed them.

If you bought the equivalent magazines today this lot would cost about $584. I am asking $75 for the lot. That’s about $1.00 per magazine.

Local pick-up in Eagle River, Wisconsin 54521.

I’m willing to ship if you pay the shipping, but I’m pretty sure the cost will be ridiculous as the lot weighs about 44 pounds!

Thanks for looking!

SOLD PENDING PAYMENT

Purrington warping trapeze complete. Used once on a Louet Spring 110. This is model KM-TDL and should fit most looms. I have never used it so if you are unsure if this will work with your loom, I would contact Purrington directly.
The upper cross piece is 58” wide so it can probably be used on a loom up to 48”. The cross piece is easy enough to replace but the one Purrington supplied is beautifully rounded and finished as are all the parts. Book and instructions included.
This is part of my Dad’s weaving studio and has been well taken care of. Packed flat for moving.

$150.00 plus shipping.

Never used Mirrix Zach 22” tapestry loom. Comes with bobbins, beaters, coils, fork, a roll of texsolv heddles and a few things that I have no clue what they are for. This is from my Dad’s weaving studio and I have no desire to do any tapestry weaving myself.

Asking $250.00 plus shipping from 97520

This loom is still available.
Asking $5000 US or OBO.
Bob Kruger at AVL suggested that reasonable price for this loom would be $5000-7500.

For sale:
AVL Technical Dobby Loom, with 60” weaving width and 24 shafts, located in Richmond, British Columbia, Canada.

It comes with CompuDobby I, e-lift, one-box fly-shuttle system, one-yard sectional warp beam, auto-advance system (old model), both, over-head beater and under-swing beater, track mount rail, and soft-grip surface for cloth beam.
Also, one AVL fly shuttle and at least 5 pirns, and a tension box are included.

I am sorry for the not so great picture. The loom was in a small room and this was the best I could do.
You can see more pics here.
The bench and the warping wheel, which you may see in the pictures are not included in the sale. The loom comes with the original built-in bench. You could have the home-made shelf hanging above the shafts, if you would like.

I would prefer local pick-up. Although I could pack it for shipping, some boxes would be very large and heavy, and I have no idea how to weigh them. Unfortunately, I do not have large enough car to deliver it.

Please note that the loom has been already disassembled and in pieces.

The loom was in good working condition when I used it last time, which was about a year and half ago. Due to a family member’s illness, I need to sell it to make space so that helpers/our friends can stay with us.

The loom has one flaw. One of the pegs on the sectional beam is broken. You can see it here.

Looking for one or two used end feed hand shuttles. I’m a fairly new weaver, in college for weaving, so I’m hoping to find some that don’t completely break the bank. I love the Bluster Bay end feed shuttles, and those are the ones that I have some experience with so far, but I’m not terribly picky. Located in NC, USA. Thanks!
